Halo is a dumbed down version of Fractional CO2, basically made so nurses could do it. Same downtime with half the results. I used to do moxi until i went to a new cosmetic derm and learned that moxi is the same of half the 'fraxel dual' treatment, rebranded by the same people that came up with the BBL (which is the same exact thing as an IPL). I just do an IPL and Fraxel Dual every year now and save about $2000 a year compared to the place that was doing Halo, BBL, and Moxi every year.
Huh?? This is totally false. When you say fractional CO2 laser I assume you are referring to Fraxel, which is weaker than Halo.
No, Fraxel is not fractional CO2. Fraxel doesn't burn any skin away like Fractional CO2. I've had Fractional CO2, Fraxel, and Halo. Fractional CO2 was by far the most effective for a single treatment. Halo was similar downtime to Fractional CO2 without nearly the improvement. Fraxel is very limited downtime compared to both of those and honestly produced the same effect as Halo, but with just a couple days of redness and swelling (no flaking/crusting).
