+1 hold on, folks.  He's definitely not worth it.

Not always the ideal situation, but can you find something in another city/state?  You have to go to where the jobs are, and sometimes, this ends up being a blessing in disguise.

It's definitely scary to be jobless (been laid off twice), but hold on.  Do what you need to do to survive.

Move in with family (I did that once); downsize; move to a diff city/state.  Again, not ideal, but you gotta do what you gotta do to survive.

I have a high school senior, so I'm trying to stay local so she can graduate here. I can't even afford to downsize because I literally have no money. The only family I have are my parents, but they live in a 55+ community in a one bedroom and aren't allowed, nor have the space to accommodate two more people. Her father is a deadbeat who's been out of our lives since she was a baby so I can't even get any help from him. The timing of this couldn't be any worse. [/quote]
