All of these people are still getting paid to this day. Many of them have been hired back after the morons who let them go realized that their jobs are too important. Litigation continues after RIFs. Important institutional knowledge is gone and that will have a cost. Programs have lost almost all of their staff. And this is important: most of the most ineffective, useless people are still plodding along.[/quote]
