My DD's team had a player "get selected" several times who ended up coming back and telling the coach please don't recommend her again - she wasn't interested. She's still playing and doing well for her HS team, but dropped back from ECNL to RL. Not everyone wants the same things. Once they get in front of the scouts though, players start to separate a bit and it becomes more obvious who belongs and who doesn't. Once you are there, it's then up to you to make sure that you stay on the radar and perform. [/quote]
