My heart breaks for her and your family. Landmark outside of Boston. They have boarding and it’s a beautiful setting. I know two families there with dyslexia and one has ADHD. Both are very happy and I think it has been a Transformative experience.
OP here. Thank you for this. I've looked a bit into Landmark and it does look truly amazing. I'm a little bit nervous that the psych stuff may disqualify her. If you know anything I'd be grateful to hear it.
Poster here who knows people at Landmark. I think it is at least worth a conversation with them. There are definitely kids there who had lower case T trauma from bullying, teachers dismissing them etc., deep self esteem issues etc. I have no sense of what your daughter needs but lots of these kids come in “not in a good place” to varying degrees. What they do with the kids is nothing short of remarkable: huge academic gains, confidence, independence etc. The classes are extremely small—5/7 kids often so kids are well known and supported. Worth a look. Good luck OP!
