When you press the button for self driving it says "Supervised" and gives a warning that you have to be ready to take over. You are still responsible for driving the car. This "excuse" would never work. You still have to have insurance on a self driving car as well. Your insurance is valid while it is in supervised self driving mode. [/quote]
