We are trying to get away from Whole Foods but there doesn't seem to be a good substitute in one place. I went to MOM's and that was good for some stuff. I liked the bulk section. I then went over to Wegman's and it is a cluster&$&*. I've been in before but not for a long time. This is the DC Wegman's. You walk into the produce section and then you have to go to the left to get cheese, meats, fish, bakery and then back to the other side of the store for dairy, frozen and and packaged goods. I know that part of this is my unfamiliarity with the store but why is the place set up that way? The produce section only had prepackaged lettuce. They were out of broccoli. (I know that can happen but . . ) Also, it felt like it doesn't carry the variety that Giant has. I did like some things like they had a turkey breast that I could roast and use in sandwiches instead of buying deli turkey. I liked the variety of berries they had but overall I did not like it. What am I missing here? For most of my friends Wegman's is their go-to over Giant, Safeway and Harris Teeter. I would like to find a place to one stop shop and right now that is still WF.
