The answer you will get is whatever answer they think you want.[/quote] +1 To an employee, this sounds like a way to pile on more responsibilities without more pay or a better title. You can just dangle that carrot and make them think it’s all preparing them for the next big thing (which will probably never happen). This reminds me of a VP at a former job who sent out a form to all staff to ask about their “hidden talents” they might want to share or areas of interest that they might want to learn more about, and she was SHOCKED when nobody submitted it.
