Troy's first wife had had no filter. She chattered on and on about literally anything that crossed her mind, while everyone else at table quietly sipped on -- sipped -- slurped their soup from the oversized silver soup spoons that had made it from Germany, and had the intials MJJ engraved on the handles. Once when one of the grandkids had asked who MJJ was, Troy's wife had ratched up the conversation to a fever pitch, talking about some dumb story she's seen on the news, thus successfully changing the story.
