23:45 BASIS is a new DC charter school in downtown DC by the National Archives.  They are based in Arizona, where they have been established since the 1990s, with several schools there and more on the way.  They provide a model which offers a hybrid of classical education (Latin, et cetera), European and American models, with lots of acceleration in math and science and a strong college preparatory focus.  They currently go 5th-8th and will be adding years on to go through high school.
