My nut allergic kid was almost poisoned by a vegan pasta dish that was just labeled "mac n cheese" without the food service company specifying that it was nut based fake cheese. It was in the allergy safe section of the dining hall. At least 2 kids were affected. After that, I think they separated vegan food from the allergy safe section.[/quote]
