I must suggest that if you use any type of vegan food in a recipe shared with others, particularly vegan fake "cheese" or "meat" that you are very clear with letting people know it might contain nuts, and also that you are careful to serve it away from the normal foods so serving pieces don't get mixed.
My nut allergic kid was almost poisoned by a vegan pasta dish that was just labeled "mac n cheese" without the food service company specifying that it was nut based fake cheese. It was in the allergy safe section of the dining hall. At least 2 kids were affected. After that, I think they separated vegan food from the allergy safe section.
