We got it for a month or so in the spring. The food was ... surprisingly good for something that comes out of the freezer. But it's not great. It's also like $12-14 a meal. They do have a good selection of meals, but if you're going to rely on it for a regular meal, they're going to get old. I thought overall the taste was good, the texture was as good as could be expected for something out of the freezer, but drenched in oil adn salt (why it tastes good). We also don't have a microwave, but found they do heat up adequately in the oven (but you have to search around for heating instructions). We got them because our son wasn't loving school lunch and they have a microwave in the lunch room. He liked maybe two of the meal options enough to eat the whole meal, it was twice as expensive as school lunch and I got stuck eating all the other ones he didn't like. it wouldn't be bad to have a stack of them in the freezer, and if they were available at Costco, I would probably buy a pack of 12 and keep them as a break-the-glass weeknight dinner option for whenever is scattered... But you could also go to Trader Joe's and for $3.99 a pop get some frozen microwave meals that do well in the oven, have the same salt, but less fat, and have, frankly, more variety. My review: it's not bad, but hard to see it as a regular thing, which is unfortunate because that's the way business works.
