I loved them at first. They then got very old and I also never again want one.

I found the protein portions to be far too small.

I didn't really like them, but to be fair I was also choosing the lower calorie options. I will sometimes order Cook Unity meals to have as options during busy weeks and those are pretty good. They're also 600 - 800 calories, instead of 500, so I'm sure it's easier to taste better.

Agree with the immediate PP. We are going to pause for a while though as I like to cook and we used Factor to get us over a hump when I was super sick for several months.

The food was ... surprisingly good for something that comes out of the freezer. But it's not great. It's also like $12-14 a meal.

They do have a good selection of meals, but if you're going to rely on it for a regular meal, they're going to get old. I thought overall the taste was good, the texture was as good as could be expected for something out of the freezer, but drenched in oil adn salt (why it tastes good).

We also don't have a microwave, but found they do heat up adequately in the oven (but you have to search around for heating instructions).

We got them because our son wasn't loving school lunch and they have a microwave in the lunch room. He liked maybe two of the meal options enough to eat the whole meal, it was twice as expensive as school lunch and I got stuck eating all the other ones he didn't like.

it wouldn't be bad to have a stack of them in the freezer, and if they were available at Costco, I would probably buy a pack of 12 and keep them as a break-the-glass weeknight dinner option for whenever is scattered...

But you could also go to Trader Joe's and for $3.99 a pop get some frozen microwave meals that do well in the oven, have the same salt, but less fat, and have, frankly, more variety.

My review: it's not bad, but hard to see it as a regular thing, which is unfortunate because that's the way business works.

Oh, I should note, they are NOT in the freezer. They're for the fridge and they take up like 1/3 of the fridge, so if you're nto eating them regularly, they get in the way. That was my other complaint (I now recall) is that it'd be much better if I could toss them in the basement freeezer and pull them out as they're needed.

Any recent reviews? I am overwhelmed with their ads lately and curious.

I like them - I use them for the calorie conscious meals so I stick to 500 cal for lunch and don’t just “skip” lunch only to eat handfuls of chips later

I find them more satisfying than vegetable and butcher

I used them when I first started my low-carb/keto diet, and they quickly got old and then started grossing me out. I will never eat one again.

We started a month ago and I love it. The food ranges from quite tasty to fine but the important things are I don’t have to cook it or wash dishes! (I’m going through a very busy time at work and we were relying on carry out way too much.)

to be fair, I don’t mind eating foods I like every week so if you’re someone who tends to get sick of stuff it might not work well. (Most dishes we’ve had are new to us but we order our favorite once per week. Eventually we will have tried all 40ish meals they offer.)

Another bonus is I’m trying to lose 10 lbs s s it’s helpful to know the exact calorie count for my fitness pal.

Yes. I'm using them now, as I've just started keto and Factor is known as the primo keto meal delivery service. I've used them for 4 weeks now.

They are by far the best meal delivery I've ever done. I think the food quality is pretty great for this kind of service. I'm enjoying the food. It's allowing me to have easy meals available as I experience the learning curve with learning what to eat/prepare on keto. I am now ordering fewer Factor meals now that I have started to figure out how to navigate my macros on my own. They are certainly expensive.

I get what PP said about feeling like everything is soaked in oil, but that's what the keto diet is -- you swap out carbs for fat. That oil has to be there for those of us who need to be in ketosis.

They have non-keto meals, but I haven't ordered any of them.

Yes. Good for a bit but I got to a point where I couldn’t eat them anymore. Repetitive, bland, and basically soaked in oil.
