Some EVs have such low lease costs these days, that you can get a single payment lease and not have a money factor at all. Be aware, that if you do this and then the car gets totaled, you will lose what you have paid. But if you want to take the risk you can save money. Probably the best deal on the market these days is the Chevy Equinox EV that is eligible for the federal $7,500 tax credit and has a range of incentives. It is not unusual to get them for $15,000 or more below MSRP and leased for $5k or so for two years. [/quote]
