Academically it’s been fine although class sizes have steadily increased and there’s not much individual attention. Socially it’s been rough even as a bystander. DC has witnessed multiple fights, there’s a lot of disruptive behavior even in Honors classes, bullying is a serious problem and DC refused to go to the bathroom in 9th and 10th grade because there’s always kids fighting vaping and doing other things they shouldn’t in there, and there have been some concerning safety incidents that weren’t handled well. Lesson learned. Youngest will be going private. Much smaller class sizes and no tolerance for disruption and violence is worth it.[/quote]
