No solution, but three years ago a woman had a service dog on the plane - we all debark. I stop to check my phone, then push on with my luggage. Catch up to the woman and her dog and it is taking a huge dump in the airport. How can that be a service dog? My so not service, poorly behaved rescue dog would NEVER sh*t inside.
How long of a flight? Even service dogs need to poo, PP. I've fostered dozens of dogs in my life, and service or no service, when you have to go, you have to go. Airports usually have potty spots for dogs, but they're few and far between and can take a really long time to walk to! A decent human would come prepared to clean up after their dog, with poo bags, disinfecting wipes and paper towels. Similar concept to diaper bags, really :-) I travel with a "dog bag".
