My so not service, poorly behaved rescue dog would NEVER sh*t inside.
How long of a flight? Even service dogs need to poo, PP. I've fostered dozens of dogs in my life, and service or no service, when you have to go, you have to go. Airports usually have potty spots for dogs, but they're few and far between and can take a really long time to walk to! A decent human would come prepared to clean up after their dog, with poo bags, disinfecting wipes and paper towels. Similar concept to diaper bags, reallyI travel with a "dog bag".
Me again. I disapprove of liars who pretend their dogs are service dogs, of course. The staff can always ask to see the certificate.
There's no such thing as a certificate for service dogs. All someone can do is ask if the dog is trained to perform assistance (I don't remember the exact wording).
That's why it's such a minefield to deal with for businesses.

Anonymous wrote:How do we get people to stop doing this? I was in restaurant and someone walks in with a tiny poodle of some variety. Staff asks that the dog stays outside. Women protests saying it's a service animal. As I'm leaving the dog goes absolutely wild aggressively barking at my baby in a stroller. I didn't say anything. Should I have? What gets people to stop?
