Two of my kids are in college now but they'll be home by the finals, which we take VERY seriously (decorations, score cards, themed food). Years ago my oldest made a truly tacky trophy out of an old soccer participation trophy and lots of glitter that we award to the person who picks the winner and right now I'm the reigning champion (thanks Nemo!) We'll see who takes it this year. Honestly, it's always been such a fun thing to do as a family and I love that our older kids still want to engage with it. It's ridiculous and silly but who doesn't need a little of that in their lives?[/quote]
