She's the congresswoman from Washington  District 4, exurbian Portlandia. Very Cascadia.
West Coast version of (younger version of) Manchin / Blue Dog Democrat.

She wants to shut down USA and return to frontier life.

Maybe she's living her truth. Maybe her constitutients do too? 
She's not an advocate for suburban and urban lifestyles; that's for sure.

This is OP. Yes, these were some of the points that puzzled me. If she and her constituents want to live like that, that’s fine. But much of the country doesn’t. [/quote]
