I noticed I have two thoughts that are hard to push away: hunger pangs = stomach hurts/stomach problems "What if it's not enough and I'm still hungry?" It's really hard for me to get past those two.
Are you the OP? For your second issue, it helps to measure portions in another room and put the food away. Set a timer for 15-30 minutes and tell yourself you can get another serving then if you are still hungry. Most of the time you won't need it.
This is good advice. I also do the "eh, it's only 30 minutes until (other thing I need to do) so I can wait until then." I have a simar issue (need to eat because what if I can't later?) and meal planning really helps me. Write the plan for the week and the day - build in a bit more food than you need. Snacks and treats are fine in moderation and you can build in healthier ones. Pack a big lunch if you are outsude the house. Cross items off the list as you eat them and you'll see there is still so much left. FYI, I have lost 40 lbs "normally" and, much later, the same 40 lbs with Wegovy. The meds really do help with the obsessive thoughts about food.
