I noticed I have two thoughts that are hard to push away: hunger pangs = stomach hurts/stomach problems "What if it's not enough and I'm still hungry?" It's really hard for me to get past those two.
Are you the OP? For your second issue, it helps to measure portions in another room and put the food away. Set a timer for 15-30 minutes and tell yourself you can get another serving then if you are still hungry. Most of the time you won't need it.
I wrote that weirdly. I mean dish out a serving of your food in the kitchen and put the package or rest of the food away and go eat in the dining room. You can cut food in half or skip the cake at a party but give yourself permission to go buy a cupcake if you're hungry later. (I've never bought the cupcake. You usually just have to calm your brain from wanting more and once you actually eat the smaller portion or healthier snack, you most likely will actually be fine and not need more.)
