Elon may not get paid by the US taxpayer because it benefits him more not to bother with signing the ethics and financial disclosures he should be subject to (but isn't, because apparently no one cares about ethics in this administration anymore). But he's a special government employee who attends Cabinet meetings and has access to agency data--to call him a "volunteer" is inaccurate. [/quote]
