Yeah the windows need to be replaced due to poor insulation and they look terrible. The carport is not pretty and attracts hornet nests and bird nests. I'm thinking of and enclosing the carport for her so she doesn't have to deal with all that and it would look much better and extra room would be very official too because the area the house is in is in a good location. If I do all that of course I would need to find a car that is more economical for me.[/quote]

You are talking about her house? Do you have an ownership stake in the house or do you live there? Replacement windows cost a lot. Maybe look at replacing the weather gaskets on the windows. Carport always have birds and hornets. It would be cheaper to have a pest control company come out in the spring and summer. If it is not your house the owner should do this type of work. They can get a home loan. If you don’t want to get a home loan or do the work why are you paying for it?

I do not understand you paying for this cosmetic work on someone else’s house unless you have lots of money to burn.

If you need a car buy a car. Look at a 1-2 year old used car. The three year old car market is mostly turned in lease vehicles. Sometimes these are good deal there. Also there are still some good EV lease options out there- $200 a month and $3-4k down. [/quote]
