I was the first person to respond to OP.
People from Venezuela came with temporary protected status, so yes, legal. And you can certainly apply for asylum once you are here. You think everyone who applies for asylum came illegally? This is the worst part of what's going on with immigration--the majority of Americans do not have a clue.[/quote]
