They con of attending Tubman is it’s a feeder school for CHEC, but is the only elementary school that does not do language immersion.  People on this site love Deal though so no matter how good other schools may be or the teaching may be, that is what they recommend.  Even though they also complain about how crowded it is or how their child hasn’t had a teacher in months (only subs).

If you want to know about a school, you should go check it out in person and actually speak to parents at the school.  Don’t ask on DCUM, you will get nothing but conflicting information.  Fun to read, but not really helpful.  [/quote]

Tell me more about this. What makes her so amazing? Have test scores gone up? Attendance? Staff retention? How many teachers quit mid year this year? Are kids no longer cussing out teachers with racial slurs and walking out of the room when asked to do work? [/quote]
