PP, no 590 is not the maximum score. 800 is the maximum score.  But a math score of 590 in the winter of 2nd grade [u]is[/u] an outstanding score.

Not PP but where can I see the max score of 800? The on grade level for 2nd maxes out at 498 so shouldn’t the max score being around that range? I understand 590 is good but 590/800 doesn’t sound as impressive. [/quote]

It's an adaptive test to some degree, so in theory they allow for a math prodigy in kindergarten to score the maximum. (FCPS may cut it off after about one grade level ahead or so I've heard.)  I'm pretty sure any score in the 99 percentile is considered favorably.  If you think your kid is truly exceptional, there are probably better testing instruments.    [/quote]
