I am pretty sure I haven't even heard of a second grader scoring 600 in iReady even though the max score is 800.

Thanks. That's a huge range for 99%. Surely there must be a way to differentiate between 490 vs. 690?

It's an adaptive test to some degree, so in theory they allow for a math prodigy in kindergarten to score the maximum. (FCPS may cut it off after about one grade level ahead or so I've heard.) I'm pretty sure any score in the 99 percentile is considered favorably. If you think your kid is truly exceptional, there are probably better testing instruments.

You can put it in your cover letter I think that’s one of the most important parts of the appeal.

It’s not automatically included. Put it in if it helps your appeal.

Anyone knows if we need to include winter Iready in the AAP appeal package or committee already know? I just looked up the Appeal process and it does not include the cover page with all the scores.
DD did reasonably well so wanted to know in case we need to appeal later this year. Thanks.
