The family moved in two months ago and their 17ish year old daughter took the new garage bedroom. It has a massive picture wndow (4'x 4') that she loves to completely undress in front of. Every. Day. We have both lost count of the number of times we have seen her in various states of undress.

The room has blinds because they are closed when she is sleeping, but otherwise it is open to the world and literally directly across the street from our living room's large picture window. Anyone sitting in our living room gets a show whether they want it or not. Our living room is where we sit at night.

Today, my spouse and I came home to a... certified-mailing-demand-letter of sorts, written by their attorney demanding that we stop looking at 'that window' or face 'criminal' charges. This was written by a lawyer, not a police officer.

'That' window is.... due east.  Are we not to look out our living room window in an eastward fashion from this point on because their daughter is an exhibitionist? This is so..... nuts that I don't know if we are bound to reply or if we can ignore it as the insanity it is.

So, can a person undress in front of an open window and demand the public not look that direction?[/quote]
