Frustrated with politics and how some top teams are being formed, I had the idea of pulling top players that I am aware of to create a new team top team with elite talent. I would not sign to this club on my own because the talent isn't there. But if we could bring the talent, problem solved. Am I crazy to think it could work? How do you get all the parents

unless the club you are going to is affiliated with a top league you will have a tough time getting buy in.  This is because the best players need/want  to be seen. To be seen you have to be with a major league (MLS or ECNL) What you suggest could be possible for U-9 to U-12 but you won’t get buy in for older players who likely have big aspirations for their future that can’t be fulfilled with an unknown club with no affiliation. Maybe a few parents who are not clued in would follow you to an unknown club for the perceived experience but those who know better would not. Even though it’s a good idea it falls apart in the reality of college and pro recruiting…
