DC is interested in creative writing, art/illustration, industrial design, maybe architecture. Are there any good publics? Also looking for a campus feel.
Try to lead with the major if you can, OP, since these areas of interest point in different directions. Architecture school requires a great deal of engineering and technical work (it's far, far from being all about design), and DC will need a portfolio in order to apply. (Check architecture schools for their specific requirements, which can be different from portfolios for e.g. studio art programs.) Creative writing is not offered at all colleges/universities. Has DC ever considered media and communications on the production side? That might also make contact with some of their interests.
