Do not bet on a 'wave of retirement' as many of those eligible to retire cannot afford to retire. Also understand that many positions of retired individuals will not be filled.

During team meeting (around 10 peoples), 3 of my colleagues may retire if RTO 5 days per week. Two of them have assigned desk, one remote. I know that vacancy will not be filled anytime soon, but my point is --- if they retire, then there will office space for other remote employees. So returning to office is just a matter of time for remote employees (in my agency).[/quote]
