See how things go in the spring. You can move up or down in the fall also. The two courses aren't substantially different in content. It's not like switching from Algebra 2 to Geometry or vice versa. AIM/7+ just goes faster through the intro parts that 6+ spends more time warming up on. But 80%ile is the hardest working / lowest readiness of kids who try AIM. If she wants to do it, she should do Khan or IXL math 7 and preview Prealgebra before he fall. If math 7 content isn't very easy for her by end of summer, I'd enroll in 6+. [/quote]
