[/quote] OP here -- good thing I live in Fairfax, not Bethesda! Like I said in my original post, I want something comfortable to wear with socks, which is why ballet flats are out. And I don't know if it's just me, but I really do not find the skinny jeans and riding boots look to be comfortable in the least or particularly warm. I would consider that a dressier jeans outfit. Many thanks to those who responded with specific styles! I have a few on order, along with a pair of Onitsuka Tigers for Asics. Hopefully I find something I like![/quote]
