There are over 100 sitters available in my area for THIS weekend who can do drop-ins, which is what I think of as being the big pro with cats, that they don't require as much care as dogs. FWIW there are 70+ who will stay at your house and 100+ who will take the cat in their home. Central DC. [/quote]
