I am a frequent runner on the RCP in Montgomery County. For the slightest bit of water puddles, they will close Beach Drive so that runners, walkers and bikers can use the street. But today, over a week since it snowed, the sidewalks have not been cleared of snow and ice, and the street remains open to cars. How does that make any sense? Who controls this part of the RCP?
Why haven’t YOU shoveled it? You say you’re a frequent user, aren’t you? So why haven’t you done your part? I live next to the park in Kensington. We use the woods trails daily. When trees blow down across the trail, my H and I get our chainsaw and go cut and clear it. We maintain those trails at our own expense and effort. You can certainly bring a snow shovel and do your part, too.
Got a chuckle out of me. Read Rosseau, you dolt.
