So no, they're not closing Beach Drive because of the snow. There is no flood risk at this time of the year, and the road needs to be kept open for cars.

You say you’re a frequent user, aren’t you? So why haven’t you done your part? I live next to the park in Kensington. We use the woods trails daily. When trees blow down across the trail, my H and I get our chainsaw and go cut and clear it. We maintain those trails at our own expense and effort. You can certainly bring a snow shovel and do your part, too.
