Oddly we had a pediatrician appt for a totally unrelated skin issue that same day, so we went, he threw up there again, tested negative for flu, and doctor said it was probably just a stomach virus (but not norovirus since that is so severe).

We went home, he slept for 2-3 hours, woke up and felt fine. Hungry. Ate. Had a mild lingering headache but really back to normal.

This happens to him maybe once a year, and has since he was pretty young. And he gets "normal" stomach bugs too, that last for a few days.

Is this a stomach bug that he just fights off really effectively? the other thought I had was that it could be a migraine? But do kids this young get them? And the headache seems to be a typical flu or stomach bug headache, not the nightmare headaches I hear from migraine sufferers. We have no family history of migraines, btw.
