Has the new Surgeon General warning impacted if you'd give alcohol as a gift? It has used to be the option to bring a bottle of wine to a party etc.
in the 70s, my mom used to give certain family members a carton of cigarettes as holiday or birthday gifts. Then, her brother died of oral cancer. It was a horrible death. It was an easy souvenir and host gift, but I probably will stop gifting alcohol. Especially to my adult children. I’m not ready to stop serving it to guests, though. And that makes me feel hypocritical.
