While I agree that school samples covers those strategies more deliberately, it benefits that parent samples address those thinking strategies as well. For example, the child can write the trip report but maybe demonstrate ability to organize information, or shifting point of view, or make analogies. It's about knowing what sweet spot to hit instead of just being generally "creative" or "imaginative". [/quote]
