If it's not clear your kid needs AAP without the CogAt score they probably don't need AAP.

Even if you're in pool, doing the packet is very helpful. It allows you to present your case that your child requires advanced academics. Otherwise you don't get to make that case and rely on the teacher and AART making it for you.[/quote]

I completely agree with you.  My point was simply that the CogAt shouldn't be the deciding factor for someone.  If they're that disinclined to put in the effort that can choose not to.[/quote]
