This seems like it would be a big deal, but no one is discussing it. Several football team members assaulted another teammate. No real details, but the rumors from my kids are that it was sexual in nature. By itself, this may not be very newsworthy because it involves minors, but there have been several other incidents at the school that together cause concern. First there was the racially motivated fight last year, where a white student was attacked and kicked unconscious by several students, and no one from the administration called an ambulance. This was kept low-key and quickly disappeared. Also, I saw a FB post by Ryan Sawyers about the principal's son being charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault while a student there. He since deleted that FB post but the trial proceedings details are on the PWC court pages. All of this seems to be some sort of cover-up or protection of the principal. I would think that with this many violent problems this close together there would be some sort of investigation and public outcry![/quote]
