I just saw a TikTok video this morning and that was the first I'd heard about the Patriot HS problems. Pretty shocking.

I live in Loudoun and our posts get only minimal responses too. Does not surprise there aren’t many PWC posters.

Often stories like this are not published to protect the minor/victim.

There are very few PWC or Manassas families on this board. Its Dcurbanmoms so it does skew more DC/suburban. I would consider those areas exurban.

This thread is proof of the OP's point. Either the families that go there are afraid to speak out or there are no Patriot HS families on this board. (I know that isn't true) With the number of violent encounters, drug issues, sexual assaults, and lawsuits against the school district because of his actions, you would think the principal would have been fired because of his poor leadership and liability to PWCS. I know I'm not the only parent that doesn't like him as principal; ESPECIALLY WHEN HIS OWN SON WAS ONE OF THE PERPRETRATORS!.

Good point. Apparently the assault was very upsetting and went viral. It's being swept under the rug. Even with minors involved, the story should be reported with their identities concealed. All we hear about is Hayfield football.

You can look up court cases in Virginia. You can do a "statewide search" which will bring up even minor things (like a speeding ticket) all over the state.
You can also look at the Circuit court cases where you use the drop down menu for a particular county/city court and search for cases. The criminal circuit court cases are typically the higher charges like rape.

OP, I agree with you, and have debated starting a topic like this myself. There is so much more I really want to say about this, but I don't want to get myself outed in any way.

This seems like it would be a big deal, but no one is discussing it. Several football team members assaulted another teammate. No real details, but the rumors from my kids are that it was sexual in nature. By itself, this may not be very newsworthy because it involves minors, but there have been several other incidents at the school that together cause concern. First there was the racially motivated fight last year, where a white student was attacked and kicked unconscious by several students, and no one from the administration called an ambulance. This was kept low-key and quickly disappeared. Also, I saw a FB post by Ryan Sawyers about the principal's son being charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault while a student there. He since deleted that FB post but the trial proceedings details are on the PWC court pages. All of this seems to be some sort of cover-up or protection of the principal. I would think that with this many violent problems this close together there would be some sort of investigation and public outcry!
