My first grader has level 2 services and gets once a week pull out for both math and reading with the AART teacher. It might also put your kid on radar to start looking at their work to put in their AAP portfolio, but not necessarily. Teachers don't select for level IV placement ( it is a county committee) but there is a local committee that can decide level III and level III. The kid's second grade teacher is the only one with teacher input with the HOPE Score. [/quote]
