From mid January onwards - for the 3 magnet schools, the in-consortium comes out first and then the out of consortium. DC  got the acceptance in March for the out of consortium and deadline to accept was 2nd week of April. For the criteria based, DC got the wait list letter in Jan and finally got accepted into one in end of May (probably someone declined and DC got the spot).[/quote]

No. Each list is maintained separately. My child was accepted to one criteria program, waitlisted at the other, and then got an invitation to the second one after accepting the first. [/quote]

However, accepting first one seat and then the other prevents a student from going back to the first, as the second acceptance frees up the first seat for someone on the waitlist.  A student always can elect to go back to their home school's base program, however.[/quote]
