I’ve had rotisserie chicken elsewhere, and had Costco rotisserie in the past that I quite enjoyed. But I got a whole rotisserie a couple weeks ago, and it was all wooden tasting, and today I got the rotisserie chicken salad from the marketplace as I waited for my eye doctor, and it was awful. Chewy and slimy somehow at the same time. I expect the chicken is probably leftovers that they then tear up for the salad the next day so I guess I should’ve said lower expectations.
Please please try to buy organic if you can.
NP- I usually buy organic meat, but even the Costco organic raw chicken has been gross lately. Organic isn’t the same as pasture raised, and doesn’t really dictate how the birds are processed after they’re killed.
