[/quote] I do not want it to rock/glide. It takes up too much space this way and hits the wall when you get up. I does not appear that there is a way to lock it. I just wanted to put some legs on it so I can still use the chair in a stationary way. I suppose I could try to sell it but it has sentimental value so I would like to repurpose it.[/quote]
