Are there any kid-friendly AI’s that actually feel like luxury to you? I’ve been considering Beaches resorts, Hyatt Ziva, Hilton La Romana but everywhere has mixed reviews. I’m looking for good food, nice beach, and fun activities for the kids. Looking at AI because one of my kids will be 2 months post-surgery on his leg and I’d like him to have to option to do as little or as much as he’s able to.
No. And you aren't going to get "good food" at a kid-friendly AI.
Mostly true, but not absolute. The food at the aforementioned Xcaret Mexico is superb. Their sister resort (which does not allow kids) Arte is even better, and their exclusive one Casa De La Playa has four restaurants by Michelin chefs and is the best food I have had at any AI. Also gives you full access to all 3 resorts and their restaurants and amenities. But it will cost $3K a night.
