What are the linear algebra options? I've heard that it's offered only at MC or at a Magnet? Is there a third option? MC credits don't transfer to a school my kid wants to attend.
Some other high schools offer it. High school credits don't transfer either. If you're going to a school where credits don't transfer, then it doesn't matter where you take LA, because the school wants all students, even those advanced in math, to get a full 4 year college education. The school will place you in an appropriate math course regardless of prior learning credit. Why would you choose to attend a super elite college, and then try to avoid actually attend it? That defeats the purpose, especially in the modern age where elite school diplomas are no longer respect. You go to an elite college for the experience of being there, not to rush out with the degree.
