I am really tired of going to NJ and I am sure NJ people are tired of coming to VA when there are other GA teams in NJ that they do NOT play. I know it is usually only 1 weekend and we get both teams, but still. With 28 teams, they are so close to making 3 conferences and not having so many conference games
MID-ATLANTIC CONFERENCE Northeast Conference Baltimore Armour (Baltimore, MD) Bayside FC (Providence, RI) Baltimore Celtic (Baltimore, MD) Cedar Stars Academy – Monmouth (Tinton Falls, NJ) Beadling SC (Bridgeville, PA) Cedar Stars Academy – Bergen (Teaneck, NJ) Century United FC (Pittsburgh, PA) Downtown United SC (New York, NY) Coppermine SC (Baltimore, MD) Long Island SC (Glen Cove, NY) Keystone FC (Mechanicsburg, PA) NEFC Navy (Mendon, MA) PA Classics (Manheim, PA) NEFC Red (Mendon, MA) Real Futbol Academy (Medford, NJ) New York Soccer Club (Purchase, NY) SJEB FC (Pitman, NJ) Oakwood SC (Glastonbury, CT) Skyline Elite SC (Charlottesville, VA) Rhode Island Surf (North Kingstown, RI) Sporting AC (Wilmington, DE) Rochester NYFC Youth (West Henrietta, NY) Springfield Youth Club (Springfield, VA) Seacoast United (Epping, NH) The St. James Football Club (Leesburg, VA) STA (Morris Plains, NJ) VA Revolution (Leesburg, VA) Syracuse Development Academy (Solvay, NY)

Just because teams are in the same state doesn't mean they are close by. Skyline in Charlottesville is a 2-3 hour drive for the other VA/MD teams, not much different than driving to PA or south Jersey from VA. Pittsburgh is not close to Philly and they are in the same state. No matter how you slice and dice it, there will always be teams traveling a 2-3 hours for games. With the new teams in the mid atlantic GA this year, travel has never been easier. Only one overnight trip for league games is nothing. We'll do way more overnight trips for showcases. League games is the easy part. If you are complaining about the one time travel needed for league games, as a PP mentioned, you should re-think being in a national platform.
